Wackersdorf, 23.09.2012: The large season finale of the ADAC Kart Masters was held in Wackersdorf last weekend. The event came to a worthy conclusion with a record participation of 193 drivers.

After the summer break, the next generation of drivers finally met on the asphalt again on Saturday to compete for Master’s points. The young Mannheim native Arlind Hoti was also at the match, starting for the KSM racing team.
Arlind Hoti delivered an excellent performance at the ADAC Kart Masters final event of the season. After the young driver familiarized himself thoroughly with the Prokart race track in the qualifying rounds, he secured himself the third starting position for the first race through his strong performance in the heats.
The young driver already exhibited the necessary tenacity at the start of the hotly contested qualifying run. He quickly moved to the head of the pack on a dry track. He was rewarded with first place by a margin of 0.807 seconds after some highly focused driving.
The young driver also kept his wits about him in the second race. With perfectly timed manoeuvres, he always drove a perfect line and once again was first over the finish line under late-summer weather conditions. The KSM Racing driver managed to keep his cool despite the race being aborted and restarted later on.
Once again the Mannheim youngster proved that he is hard to beat on the 1.222 kilometre track in Upper Palatinate, as Arlind Hoti already stood on top of the podium at the end of May during the DJKM in Wackersdorf.
With his double win at the ADAC season finale, the KSM Racing driver secured important Master’s points. In the overall ranking, the Mannheim native barely missed second place with 122 points.
Following the last race of the Kart Masters, the Mannheim native will once again put on his helmet in a week at the DMV Kart Championship (gold cup).
